Discription: 

Virginia Law heavily regulates the proper use of escrow accounts and Realtor’s management of client funds. This class will give you a strong understanding of escrow requirements, the rules surrounding handling of deposits in purchase and rental transactions, proper and legal disbursement of those funds, and also how to proceed when disputes surrounding escrowed funds arise. We will also discuss best practices and how to avoid falling victim to common and oftentimes innocent mistakes surrounding client funds.
